Winter Dance Problem 10 points!?

This girl wants to go with me to the winter dance, shes nice but i really don't want to go with her. i feel like if i say no i can't go to the dance with someone else. what should i do?
 
Tell her you're already going with someone else, and then hope you can find a date.
 
Honesty is DEFINITELY the best policy. Say that you would, but you're thinking of asking someone else. It'll let her know that you're being nice, but not that interested. Be nice though, because just imagine you were her.

Also, you can ALWAYS go to the dance with someone else as long as you didn't lie and say "I can't make it" cause then she'll think that you'd go with her if you could go and once you show up: major drama!

If you want to ask another girl, then do not lie to her. Tell this girl in a gentle way that she is really nice, but you're just not interested. Be kind and sweet, so she'll understand.
