Windows Plan Compared to BB Plans

So..there I was online looking at the HTC Touch that Rogers had just launched, all was fine and dandy, I have no intention on purchasing it, but I did want to do some comparison shopping of course ...just to see the difference between WinMobile Plans and BB Plans, what I found out shocked me...now I know Rogers has no plans to change their BB plans, nor is this really a gripe post about them, they are what they are, I accepted that a while ago, but like I said, the difference shocked me...for expample..

My Current BB Voice And Email Plan

$75 gets me....
350 Anytime Minutes,Unlimited Evenings & Week-ends (9PM-7AM)
7 MB* (available for either (BES) or (BIS)

A Windows Mobile Plan
250 Anytime Mins, Unlimited Eve & Wknd (9PM-7AM) -$20
25MB Of Data Access-$60

so...as you can see for $5, plus taxes of course..18MB more....thats insane now it is true MY plan has 100 more minutes, but...I never use even 100 of my minutes in a month..so I'd MUCH rather have the data.

PS: I set this up going through as a new customer and selecting from all of which was offered to me throughout the process, Rogers does have SPECIFIC plans for voice and email for WinMob, which are on par with the BB plans, but WinMob get 8MB rather then 7MB, but again, none of which was offered to me at checkout selection, so nothing indicates the plans I outlined would be unavailable to me.

Because RIM's OS has data optimization that windows mobile does not have, so BBs needs less bandwidth than windows. So, in reality, the bigger allowed bandwidth for windows mobile is not.
