Hello,
I used to use "pilot-xfer" with my old Palm 3xe, under Windows (not Linux). pilot-xfer is a command line tool that can modify files on the palm (copy from palm to HDD and vice versa) without any help from other programs, i.e. the Palm Desktop is not necessary. Being a command line tool, it is easy to use it in batch files / scripts.
Now, my windows executable from 1999 or so obviously can't handle the TX because of the USB connection; it ony supports the serial port. Google didn't find any newer version (for Windows - the Linux version supports USB just fine, it is a Linux program after all).
Is there a similar Windows application which can directly access files on the TX? I am not bothered with memory cards at the moment, only the internal memory (RAM/NVFS).
I know about Palm Desktop's backup directory, and several backup tools (RescoBackup, BackupMan etc.), but that is not what I mean. The tool should not depend on the Palm Desktop, conduits or anything else (if possible), and should just copy the individual files (that's a must).
Thanks in advance!
