Windows Movie Maker Low Virtual Memory? What?

Alright, I just finished making a video on Windows Movie Maker. For the past few days, I've been trying to turn the storyboard into a movie file. For some reason, it won't let me. It keeps saying that my virtual memory is low (I don't know what that is). I checked everything that might be stopping me.

I made sure none of the original files in the storyboard were deleted.
I still have 15GBs left in my computer.
Only Windows Movie Maker was open.
The Windows Movie Maker file is only 1 MB some.
If I turn it into a movie file, it will only take up to 80 MB some.
The video is supposed to be 8 minutes long.
I edited a shorter video after that, and it worked fine.
My laptop is old. Windows XD Home Edition Compaq (that's all I know about it)
So, can anyone help me out? Also, are there any other video editing software that won't empty my wallet? Is there a way on finishing this project without redoing it in someone else laptop?
