windows mobile 6.5 not playing mp4 file?

i heard that windows mobile does play mp4 files, but i just found out that my Samsung Omnia Icon that has windows mobile 6.5 does not play mp4? is there really a problem, or do i need to install something to play it?

find the program from link below to convert video to 3gp or avi, your mpeg-4 might be correct format, but the file size(resolution)could be larger than the phone screen.

the program has the video converter feature that do what you wish to do.
