...restore? I'm using Windows XP, and this has happened to me once before. Out of nowhere if I play a music file I begin to get periodic static and clicks while the music file (and video audio) plays. It even happens with Media Player Classic. I do a system restore for a couple days back, and the problem goes away. Anyone have any clue what this could be? My computer is free of viruses and malware.
