I have some songs in folders that I want to sync to my MP3 Player. I can only sync them if they're in the library. How do I get them into the library from my folders?

I am sure that there is a quick way but if all else fails play them in Media Player the default is set to "Copy to Library" and if you are on the internet at the time it can scuttle off and get the details artist, title etc.

the answer depends on your version of media player. il tel u how to do it on WMP 11 (windows media player 11)
[if u have windows vista, u have WMP 11, u mite have WMP 11 in windows xp, depending if its been installed]

open WMP
directly under the library tab theres an arrow, click it
click add to library
click add
browse to the folder of your music

im not sure how to do it in the older versions

One of two ways:

Easy way:
1)Copy all the songs you want into your "My Music" folder
2)Open Windows Media Player
3)WMP will automatically find your songs in that folder and add them to your library.

Harder way (not really hard, but useful if you don't want to move your music
1) In WMP, click the arrow below "Library"
2) Go to "Add to Library"
3) Click "Add"
4) Browse until you get to the folder that has your music in it. Click on that, then click "OK" or "Add" or whatever the confirmation button is
5) Click "OK".
6) WMP will find the new folder and add everything in it.

This is assuming you have WMP 11. If you bought a computer in the last year or two, you've got it. If you've updated WMP in that time, you've got it.
