When someone sends me an E-mail with a video attached to it, I will try to download the video,and all I get is sound only and no video. What do I have to do to retrieve video and sound together from Windows Media player?
Hi. Well all you need is to download codecs from like divx.com or other site you can google a codec take 6.8 of divx.
My suggestion is that you can use Vlc media player it reads all the format even the hd you dont need a codec for it because it comes with every codecs installed just for it self. Im saying that because since you start to install codecs you will still need more and more it is a vicious circle and in some video picture and sounds wont match then you will need to download another last pacs of codecs.(im french in the case my english is not that perfect).
The obvious answer is to install a codec pack.
But I would suggest you to just install VLC Player. Its small in size and plays almost any format available on the net.
