Windows Media Player damaged?

So when I try open Windows Media Player it says content damaged, would you like to go to Microsoft download page and look for an update. Then there is no versions available for this version of Windows (Windows 7 Ultimate Build7600). But then it says please visit Windows Update in Windows and it does not have anything to update and I check everyday. It has been not working for more than 2 weeks. Please help me in any way possible. Thank You
