Windows Media Player and ipod nano aren't compatible?

I'm not sure if WMP does work with iPods, you should install iTunes, that will be compatible your iPod nano and you will be able to play your songs from there.
You can even convert them to mp3s in iTunes and play them in WMP if you really like.

They will not be compatible no matter what you try. You will need to use iTunes or another jukebox like Media Monkey or WinAmp to sync music to your iPod.

You can only use iTunes or files on your computer. I don't know about Win Media Player.
