So yeah I got a windows 7, can't open the console when I hit the ~/tilde key. The Ring of Console mod don't work, so I'm left with getting rid of that Infrared Receiver. I think I found it, in the devices folder. It's called Consumer IR Device. So I click on it, and the uninstall button is not "pushable". So I go to it's "source" and delete the .sys file or whatever it was file. Still didn't work and I can't physically take it out cause I don't know where it is. I'm a total noob, I'm better at destroying computers than fixing them.
So my question: IF YOU KNOW THE EXACT ANSWER WHAT DO I DO? please give me the answer in detail. I can't just use a different computer either.
