wind generator setup question pure sine waveinverter/voltage control?

planning to build a wind generator have 2 questions 1 can i use a pure sine wave inverter as a grid tie inverter 2 i dont want to use batteries do i need a control unit of some sort to regulate the voltage to go directly into the formentioned pure sine wave inverter and if i need a control unit could someone lead me in the direction of a good one
