Win95 and Socks... possible?

I have to run Windows 95 and Socks (verson5) at work. Has anyone done this?
I tried toadnode....does not want to run (no wi*** support)
Limewire refuses connect...even socksified
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated....thanks
 
Are you talking about Winsock for 95 If so try this copy and paste in to your browser. If Not sorry I don't understand your question.

P.s Offices still uses window 95, wow.

what is wrong with this forum I can't post to the download it self.
 
What I need to know is if there is a gnutella client that is socks proxy compatible (like toadnode) and will run on wi*** (which toadnode dosen't)
 
I would have no clue on this, because I don't know everything about the qnutella my self and how they work yet , I am sorry.
 
I'm not logged in, but I would say so, I had a direct link to the download and it didn't work on these forums. It really didn't matter, it wasn't what the person needed. What I meant is I can post somehting that would take you to a direct download and you choose where you would what it on your computer. Never had this problem on the other forum thats all. O,well

AFAIK there is only Xolox with socks 5 support... but there is no public release yet... but you can sure get a copy from one of the testers, they posted several links on the sharing sides!
