No because I have a job and work for my stuff. The government is taking my money and redistributing it to the lazier people around the country. (Some of which have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.)
 
No kidding. If I get laid off, I'll sit back and collect my $1643 a week for 2 years and "work under the table" for the other 1/3rd I lost. I could use a nice long vacation at the tax payers expense. God knows I've paid enough into the system and let others milk off my taxes.

It's taking from those that are working hard (us) to give to those they deem need it more (whoever they want)

Except that last year the middle class got a tax cut and most middle class don't even pay federal income tax because of all of the various breaks...
 
Oh really? I just looked at my last pay stub, and there's definitely money taken out from "federal withholding". Either you're lying or my pay stub is. Guess which one I trust more.

Maybe you'd prefer they say "Most middle class don't end up having paid federal income taxes when you factor in that all of it is returned when they file their taxes at the end of the year." ?

While technically you are correct, they do PAY it, you have to admit that the other side is correct in that they get it BACK at the end of the year and the net effect is that they don't actually end up owing any federal income tax.

How about this then: All the money that Obama and his boys are printing is going to cause inflation that will far surpass the tax rate for most people.
