Will you pay big $$ for E90 with no 3g service?

Honestly, everywhere I go these days has WiFi so I couldn't care less about 3G data. I am not planning on using the streaming video or anything on it; just trading activities and SSH.

I went to the S60 event excited about the E90 but I really hated its keyboard when I used it in person. It is certinly big (a little too big even IMHO) but it felt like typing on a stone tablet. No feedback at all.

So no, I wont be paying big money for an E90 us 3g or not. N95 and N76 however... thats another story!

What part is big? THe phone or the keypad? I'm assuming that in time we could grow used to the keypad if the feedback is the major problem.....if it's cramped however, that's a different story.

It`s supposed to be the same thickness as the 9300 and a bit wider. Is the keyboard better or worse than the 9300? I like the 9300 keyboard alot and I can type really fast on it , which is good for me. The really cool feature IMO is the screens being the same as far as what`s on them. I could probably do everthing one handed with the device closed, only opening when needed to type or to enjoy a larger visual. That to me is a killer feature. Plus the nokia browser, more memory and on and on.....

I expected the phone to be big, that wasnt the issue. The keypad was a little wider than I found comfortable. There is just so much real estate from one side of it to the other that it was slowing me down when typing.

I guess that could be good for big fingers and bad for little ones. If it's as good as the 9300s then i'm fine. It wasnt the best and i'm certainly faster on an E61/62 but the screen is just too much to pass up imo. Web browsing will be unreal on that thing.

Plus the "form factor". The mini laptop design can't be beat. To each his own, but I love being able to set it down (as my 9300) and type and browse away with the screen up for viewing. Or closed for one handed operation. It's the best of both IMO. Definitly going to be my next device.
