that sounds like a response to someone he is talking to. Taking anything out of context can make it look silly.

What is your beef with this MARS thing?
 
When you carry a grudge this far
you end up seeming petty and trite
It becomes counter-productive to your aim
There are some fantastic poets on Mars
just as there are in Yahoo

You don't just cut and paste, then degrade. Ain't fair that way, TRUTH!
The good, the beautiful, and the half-half are on all sites, you know.
They have excellent poetry, too. And most of all, the coordinators are serious about maintaining a site that's committed to poetry.
Be fair in your judgment, Truth! Defaming construct nothing.
