Hi MStar!
Not Monday's eclipse. It's not visible anywhere in the Americas. It happens around 3 a.m. Eastern Time.
Most of the annular phase of the eclipse happens out over the Indian Ocean. It touches land only on some of the Indonesian islands.
If you were in South Africa, you could see a good partial eclipse Monday morning. Southeast Asia and most of Australia will see one late Monday afternoon (early evening in Australia). Europe and the Americas, however, miss it completely. We're on the wrong side of the world for this one.
But patience! Most of Florida lies in the path of a total eclipse (not a mere annular eclipse like this one) August 12, 2045. The only parts that will miss it are the Jacksonville area, the southwest corner of the peninsula and the Keys.
If you can't wait 36 years, there will be total eclipses over South Carolina in August 2017 and along a line from Texas to Maine in April 2024.
