Will we ever stop letting the media influence our elections or can we?

It seems more and more that the media can put on a smear campaign and we buy into it and their guy wins so why don't we vote for the smeared guy and take our chances on that.
 
The only way it will ever change, is if people get back to The Word of God, seriously. Too many "seeker" friendly churches, and no one preaching the fear of The Lord. Check out Proverb 8:13.
 
i would hope we would stop being so childish but i doubt it Saturday Night Live and all these comics can change the world, i tell you. Now people didnt like palin, or mccain, because they spread crap about him every possible way. but the OBAMA skits were praise and not criticizing...hmm... look who won the election.look what a dramatic victory it was. these people act like its the championship and theyr giving away free hotdogs to root for certain people but selling brocoly for the others. sorry but i couldnt think of a better relationship.

Id prefer actually looking into their policies and making sure they make sense, not just rooting for the one that "seems" to be losing. And no, the media will always have some impact on everyone, even you, unless you live under ROCK the INTERNET is a form of media and you have just influenced others. So it works both ways.
 
Big Daddy, I suggest you go into hiding because the Democrats are filling their bills with pork.
 
Have you ever called your senators or congressman. You can never get them on the phone and they never write you back.

When you speak to the aids they say Senator blah, blah stands on this issue, blah, blah.

When you ask more questions about it, the aids never know.
