Will gas turbine cars ever become popular, I understand that a few were built by Chrysler in the 60's. But, why were gas turbines abandoned in cars if they are more efficient and even more powerful then piston driven engines? Also, they can run on a wide range of fuels (even crude oil) flawlessly.
