I'll definitely look for the voyager in april.... if not, then there's always the prada. I was also leaning toward the nokia 95 but would still prefer the voyager

Do you mean April 2008? Because I am looking for phones for at&t, but I couldnt help but read that. So are you saying that it already came -PLEASE REPLY- :/

As far as I know, the Voyager is unofficially exclusive to VZW. It's just LG's business model; they give specific devices to specific carriers. Most of the LG devices on VZW have not seen the light on other major carriers. Similarly, the LG Rumor has been released on Sprint and not VZW or AT&T.

The Voyager was meant to compete with the Apple iPhone which up until recently was exclusive to AT&T. That network will not be getting the Voyager as it is exclusive to Verizon Wireless.

If you want the Voyager, you'd have to go with Verizon. It's a much better network anyway.

The Voyager is not an iPhone competitor.

A competitor phone would be a phone that has nearly identical features and a similar design. A competitor is also released and generally marketed as a "known" competitor.

Verizon Wireless has even stated (along with LG) that the LG Voyager was approved by the FCC about 5 months before the first iPhone...this means that even though the Voyager came out much later, it was in thought much before. Verizon Wireless also denies any claims that any phone will and can compete with the iPhone at this time.

The LG Voyager is exclusive to Verizon Wireless, but that's how most "nice" phones are. The Apple iPhone was originally going to be a Verizon device, but Verizon rejected it because Apple wanted nearly all profit.

When the phone was released, it was marketed as a competitor for the iPhone and it is similar in design, but the actual keypad is an added feature.

Even though it was thought of before, it is extremely possible that Verizon grabbed this phone so quickly because they passed on the iPhone which may or may not be coming to Verizon in the coming months.
