...a 3rd yr "Flash in the Pan"? I love AP. HOWEVER, we all got so caught up in the excitement that we have forgotten that AP has only been good for 1 1 short yr. Ferocious Defenses are planning for him NOW MORE THAN EVER BEFORE, and he does not exactly have an "Emmit Smith Offensive Line" to help make gaping holes for him over the long haul. He also has a new QB who may because of pride, try to play through bad injuries and not always be 100 percent.
IF AP does tank like ICKEY WOODS, CHRISTIAN OKOYE, JAMAL ANDERSON, and SHAUN ALEXANDER before him, { remember that every one of those guys was going to be a "sure Hall of Famer" } will we all say in December, that WE were the great prognosticators that had the Crystal Ball? Will we all act like we knew it all along? That "We saw it coming" ?
Most of us probably will.
