Will this work in landing me a Lexus?

I have only $3000, but I want a Lexus certified used car, specifically the ES300.

My plan is to take my mother with me to go pick up a old 1999 Chevy Malibu. A death trap and a money pit of repairs to even the novice eyes.

Will she help me buy the Lexus after I pretend to buy the old Chevy?
If you were a mom, would you volunteer to help buy your loving, innocent daughter the Lexus?

I didnt say I wanted a brand new 2009 Lexus.
And its the bottom line Lexus.
Its not like its a LX or LS which are $75,000.

I'll just get some cheap used domestic car.
but if the car breaks down in some lonely highway where the locals are canables my mother will be devastated.
 
No wouldn't. As a parent i would resent the attempt to swindle me without asking for the help. If you really want the car - do it right. Save the money and stay focused.
 
trickery does not equal innocent. Why do you need a lexus anyway? I am guessing you are 16 maybe 17. Go to college, get a degree, get a job and buy your own.
 
innocent? sounds like your trying to trick your mom -_-. plus i doubt your mom will buy her teenager a lexus unless your last name is Gates. and i dont know what you mean by pretending to buy i mean how can you pretend to buy a car? if i was your mom i wouldnt buy you a car at all
