I just bought the DUAL XOBP12D 1100W Bandpass Sub System with a DUAL 800 watt XIA4225 Amp. The subs are 600 watts rms and the amp is 400 watts rms. I am also hooking the Dual 6x9 speakers up that are 50 watts rms to a Dual 50rms amp. with all this hooked up i am looking at 450 to 500 watts rms. will this amount of power hurt my 1998 Toyota Corolla's Battery or Alternator ? and if this would not effect my car at all could i ago ahead and buy the bigger 1000 watt Dual amp that puts out 500 watts rms ? Thanks so much to those who answer !!!!!

you will be good all the things you have amp subs there all overderrated so they dont really push what it says

it might my amp was just 800 watts and it missed up 2 alternaters on my 04 mustang

Hurt ? That's funny I never knew you could hurt an alternator, Hurt pertains to nerves and flesh, Damage is another thing. No you will not damage your alternator.
