I have a Canon 200M Speedlite flash. Will it work with my Panasonic Lumix G1?
Yes, my camera has a hot shoe. Not sure what you mean by "x" or "f" so if someone could elaborate further, that would be great. Thanks!

Look for the "X" output on your camera - if it has one, and strobe light will work.

Camera shutters are timed for either "F" (flash bulbs - going waaaay back) or "X" - strobe (electric) flash.

I think your camera has a "hot shoe - I couldn't fild pix of your flash on Google, but if it has a shoe mount, it will synch up and work with the shutter.

I really dont know, but I am going to take a wild educated guess and say no. Its generally a good rule of thumb to not mix brands when it comes to flashes. Different companies use different voltages, so you could easily end up frying your camera. At the very least you wouldnt be able to use the flash on auto mode, if it even has a manual mode. Its very likely it would not do anything at all.
