Obama and Rahm Emanual have been talking about a "Civil Army" for people 18-25. The word "mandatory" has been thrown around by the both of them, but I've also heard they wanted it to be volunteer. The civil army kind of scares me. What could it be used for in the long run? It somewhat reminds me of Hitlers SA, and I personally don't believe we should even be considering this.
Anyways, the bill is not in the house, and I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not this will be mandatory or volunteer? I've also read a statement from Rahm saying that this "Civil Service" will be "Mandatory Volunteer", which is a sugar coated contradiction...
