basically my ex of 2 years broke up with me (were both 18) because i hadn't had a job yet in my life. she felt like i was starting to keep her back. shes going off to collage about 60 miles away. and she thinks with out a job it wouldnt of worked. she has had a steady job for a while now. well this morning i got a call telling me that i have to come in for orientation at a job that i applied for. and by the way the lady sounded, there ready for me to work asap.
now heres what im wondering. sense we broke up because of me being lazy and not having a job. would this possibly change anything? my gf told me she still loves me and cares. and she did only break it off with me because she felt like i was not getting my act together. and she always stressed how i needed a job. could this be the turning point? ive been trying to tell her that it wouldnt be that long before i started working. but i think she sees me as all talk. and no action to back it up. how can i show her that its for real? with this job i can finally have money, and save up. im also getting a car(a old junky car) but car none the less. with this job things will start happening for me. ive always been down alot in my life and lacked motivation and drive to further my life. but i feel now that i finally have a stable job. i can make it and get some where.
so is there anyway i can use this as proof that im not all talk. and show her i still care and i can support a relationship. and do things just for her, but my self also.
