The truth hurts

I have noticed over the past few years that there are less manual cars are coming out. And the majority of people are driving automatics now. I drive stick because of the reliability and less fuel use and theyre more fun to drive. I learned to drive in a manual. But automatics are becoming more advanced and fuel efficient. So does this mean that soon there will be no more manual cars in the US? I have only owned one automatic but it constantly needed repairs done. And I never had those problems with my manual cars.
