Like TV's + DVD players and games consoles that you could just sit near eachother and theyll all be connected without wires and plugs and scart leads everywhere.
It would be so brilliant and easy to set up!
 
Yes. If you go to the wireless conv or the CES, there are all the products that you are talking about. They are either using higher MWave(7,8,and higher), infra-red,Rf sig, common G and Bluetooth. The TVs, Hitachi for example are using Higher Mwave and common G to send hi-def sig through the house with out interfer with neighbor and such. Console unites are comming with RF and Mwave transmitter switchbox, so all your units are wireless. In Japan, they actually have the units and components in the closet, so it is cooled by a fan and you never hear the spinning of the cd/dvd units. All is sent through a wireless interface so there is only the Plasma or Lcd, no other wire but power. Even the speakers are connected wireless from the head, so it looks invisible. .
 
possibly. bluetooth is pretty amazing stuff. idk if it would be able to connect your vcr to your tv tho. but im sure someone will come up with something and ull probly live to see it. shits getting pretty high tech now a days
