Will there be CDMA in my area?

Hello, I live in Laredo Tx zip 78076 but there is only AWS service (triband phones) only. I purshased a treo and a katana (CDMA) and flashed them but they don't work becouse we currently don't have CDMA service in my area. Will we get CDMA anytime soon? or are we stuck with AWS. I set my line in vacation suspended becouse the treo I bought does not work right now. Do I have to sell it? :befuddled

Yes, I just got and account but my treo whold not work, I also got a samsung a800 and a katana but none work, when installing the RPL I don't get any signal. I was told that for my area only triband phones work, but I would like to get these phones working, also I was told that in a month or 2 CDMA was going to be acceceble in my area.. I just need to know if they are going to work then I'll wait if not then I will have to get tiband phones.

If Cricket is in your area of Laredo Texas (as is proven by the map I linked you too)....then CDMA technology is at work....it's just about setting up the phones correctly....Now the question is...do you have those ESN's on your account? That's the next thing for you to do.
 
no please refer to the links in my signature. laredo tx is an aws market requiring a tri-band device which are currently only sold by cricket and metro.
