Hello!
I was thinking about buying the 3GS to replace my current 3G that I've had for a year, and a new MacBook Pro to repleace my current white MacBook ('08).
However, I've heard about the January 27th Apple event that has been stated to focus mainly on the "mobility space."
There are plenty of speculations that the new iSlate tablet will be released, but would this "mobility space" also include the iPhone and MacBook line?
The new Intel Core i5 and i7's are supposed to be put into the new MacBook Pro's, but I'm not sure if that'll happen at this event.
Also, they might release the iPhone 4.0 OS, but that wouldn't affect hardware changes.
Should I buy the 3GS and a new MacBook Pro now, or should I wait until *after* the January 27th event?
Thanks a lot!

P.S. I'm aware that the new iPhone will probably be released in June of this year, but I'm still willing to buy a 3GS now.
