Will the video game cartoon revolution spark again ?

I would have loved to see eps based on contra, f-zero, monster party, and gargoyles quest.

They already had an F-Zero cartoon. But I'm not surprised you haven't heard about it. It was dull and just unwatchable. It was Speed Racer with all the charm taken out, and replaced by an illogical plot (a government agency racing cars so bad guys don't get prize money?!?!).

I thought Spyro was getting a DTV done in the next year or so.

I've not seen one good series inspired by a vidgame:

1. Pac-Man
2. Q*bert
3. Mario Bros.
4. Sonic
5. Earthworm Jim
6. Zelda
7. Kirby
8. Street Fighter
9. Mortal Kombat
10. Double Dragon (was DD ever a tv series?)

I've not had the fortune of watching the Lara Croft mini-sodes.
the exception might be Carmen San Diego.

The little of pole position i saw was good, but then again, that doesnt really count since it was based on the game in name only. And SMB3 was pretty good and fun to watch. I wonder why we never saw a crash bandicoot cartoon though.

I don't think anyone would want to see a Sonic series with no Sonic in it.

Other then what Gametap has recently done for the Aniversity, i'm shocked we didnt see a Tomb Raider Cartoon back when they introduce Lara Croft on Playstation 1. Now that would make a great saturday morning toon.
