If not, what are we paying them for?
@Charles: we (suposedly) live in a free capitalist society. The societys standard is based off of what businesses can sell. I.E. HAPPY MEALS! (or sell them with the toy) If SOCIETY didn't want them, SOCIETY wouldn't buy them, they would become a drain on that business and the business would discontinue the practice. Think of it as a very informal boycott or consumer darwinism.
