I failed a class in my junior year of high school due to poor decision making on my part. However, I took the class again and I got an A in it. I have all A's in every other class. I take Honors and will take 5 AP's next year. I got a 30 on my ACT and I did about 250-300 hours of community service. Even if I write my admissions essay about how failing that class affected me and made me a better individual, are my chances slim? Even with the failed course, I have a little over a 3.8 unweighted GPA. Thanks!
Will the University of Michigan accept anyone who failed a class?
