You will have to confirm with a transmission shop/expert,but I believe the design of the car and the tranny in general is different. I don't think the set up is the same. Normally if the car's differ in body style like these do, then the transmission and engine are designed different as well. If it had the same body style and only a year apart like the 94/95 or 96/97 thunderbird it would be different, but in this case I would say no.
