...new paradigm? I'm frightened that the Republikaans will spoil our bright new future. Is it possible that they can join the rest of us non-"real-americans" to build a new economy?
I voted in 1978.
I predict this will be deleted by whiners.

Before tomorrow, 10:00 CST.

Illustrating the cognitive dissonance of the average YAHOO Repubican
I thought we had freedom of expression in THIS COUNTRY. Why do I need to move?
Whining about Bill Ayers. Case in point.

They will keep whinin' for about 4 years - Obama will win again and THEN, they'll start to "think".

They have no interest in the country succeeding, they just want power back at any cost.

Country first, you know.

We're $10 trillion in the hole and bailing out major sectors of our economy. I'm not sure which bright new future you are talking about, but good luck.

Who is "whining"? Most of the news programs on TV are celebrating. whats your point?

It is my observation that the "whining" stopped on election day.

It will be intersting to see who the "whiners" will blaim for the next disaster.

The GOP is all about the GOP. They will never admit guilt or help much to bring about positive change. Not their thing, sorry.

you don't have any clue what the "new paradigm" is going to be. with an energy crisis on the horizon, two wars, a trillion dollar deficit, a tanking economy, the threat of new onerous taxation and tariff measures and the unknown black swans that are coming at him obama may have little to do but react to crisis after crisis. there is a new paradigm coming and it begins with the death of the dollar, the death of oil as our main source of energy and the death of the consumer culture.

NO! Your *new paradigm* hasn't begun yet. Yet, still you run on some complicated hope when we see the hints of higher taxes, more radical players and haughty audacity!

the fact that they're looking at fred dalton thompson to run the rnc should be all the news you need to realize the republicans don't intend to change anything. they're content to wait out the typical cycle of favoritism, which swings the pendulum back and forth. there is no new paradigm in their book. frankly, they're out of touch and this election showed it. people are ready for a new vision of the usa in this globalized society, and so far they're failed to get on board.
