If your like me, then your tired of listening to mainstream crap. All this talk about killing people and flossin your 22's on your Escalade with your ice on your rist while holdin on to your 9mm etc., you know what im talkin about, the anoying repeat crap mainstream artists like Chingy, Little John, Ying Yang twins, Nelly, Mase...and the list goes on!

Anyways, check out this free online streaming radio - www.thebassment.com, just sign up for a free Live365 account and you can listen to the streaming radio all day. They play real hip hop like Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Jurassic 5, Talib Kwali, Awol, Common etc. Im just lettin everyone know whats up, peace.

i think the kind of music you refeer to by saying mainstream cannot be called hiphop at all - more like some gansta.wannabe-rap-crap-hip-pop shit goes on

ya i know what you mean, i pretty much meant mainstream as in the shit thats played on the radio. I cant stand it, its the most un-tallented crock of crap i have ever heard. If you slowed the song down so that you could listen to some of the lyrics these guys put in there songs, you can see why they probably dropped out of highschool. Ive heard Binary Star they are dope, but ya the bassment playes some good shit if your into real hip hop.
 
You can download Binary Star's Masters of the Universe album for free. That first track is my favorite, but the album overall is great. That stuff they play on the radio is ok for the clubs, but it gets old real quick.
