Will the NHT absolute zeros be overpowered by my 75 watt Yamaha stereo receiver?

Hi I want to get a new pair of speakers because I upgraded to a Yamaha Natural Sound Stereo Receiver. I have heard the Classic 2s and I really like their sound. I want to go listen to them for myself but I may not have a chance. My uncle has a pair of the 2s and he said that they should sound basically the same except without some bass. So will my Yamaha overpower the speakers? I think they shouldn't because they are acoustic suspension. But just incase I want the Yahoo community to give me some advice. Thanks
