will the new xbox 360 4gb slim arcade would be enough?

i going to get one 4 my b-day next month but will the 4gb be enough i would not put nothing no music, games demos or movies. Just for saving game file like my progress in a game. if i want to play online in xbox live would i need to download something because i don't want use all my 4gb. will this xbox get the red ring of death. will they sell a hard drive like 20gb. will this work http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72716 with it to keep it cool
 
That will be enough is you don't plan on adding much apart from game saves. The old Arcade with only 256MB was enough for many people. They haven't said anything about additional hard drives yet, though I'm sure they'll make one later. The slims haven't been out long enough to tell if they'll have any problems.
