Will the education benefits my wife obtatined due to my military career work in

favor in a divorce? My wife and I have been married for 3 years. We live in California we were married here also. My military benefits have paid for her associates degree and a certification for dental assistant. We have been talking about divorce. We agreed already before what would happen in case of a divorce as far as settlements go. I have agreed she can have all the furniture and And I will take all the debt around in excahnge for after the divorce is settled and final I wont pay spousal support.She works full time and will not have to pay rent because she will be living with family. Now she thinks she should get more. I cant believe it but I have a question for anyone who might know or has experience. My military has paid for about 8,500 worth of educational benefits for her. I have been told that education benefits can be used in a settlement. Is this true. Does anyone know if this is myth or fact. Please help once again I am in California and active duty military.
