will the doctor let me know what the sex of my baby is?

I asked the ultrasound tech but it's like she didn't want to tell me anything and she said the radiologist or something has to look at it. I'm wondering if my doc is going to tell me this information. I did request to know but the doctor i go to is abscent minded..only one i can get around here..my ultrasound tech is mean. She wouldn't even let me see the screen..only for the last few minutes and wouldn't let me see lower part of baby to come out with my own conclusion..i can read and possibly look at it and figure it out myself. I don't know why she was acting like she was. Does anyone know the law in canada for what ultrasound techs can tell you at examination? if there allowed to tell you there guess on sex and you ask for there percentage on that what percentage are they allowed to give?

If it is the ultrasound in which they can tell the sex then you are supposed to be at least told, if not also shown, the sex of your child. I am not in Canada but I would report her, you have the right to know.

If the u/s tech got a shot of between the legs and your doctor can see and you ask them I'm sure they'll tell you. However, since your u/s tech sounds like she was mean then she may not have taken a picture of it and you won't know. Good luck and I'm sorry that you had a mean tech.

I don't know about canada, I'm in texas and had two u/s that were specifically designated to find out the gender so the tech always told me right there.
