Will the debate on intergender high school wrestling ever end?

I was only curious know everyone's opinion on this. We all know that mixed high school wrestling is a real hot topic. Some believe girls shouldn't be wrestling boys because its morally wrong -- "I don't want my son to touch a young lady in that manner, yada yada yada"

(I'm actually of the variety that believes a guy shouldn't competitively wrestle a girl, personally. I always chose not to wrestle girls when I was on my wrestling team in high school. A guy shouldn't man-handle a girl in any context. Or even if the girl could man-handle the guy, lol. It just something a guy shouldn't do in my opinion. I mean -- its one thing if a guys' playing around with his girlfriend, or a husband with wife. But that's just my opinion, I know we all probably have mixed feelings about this)

But back to my question... The argument that intrigues me the most is the argument that girls need to wrestle with the boys because there isn't enough of them to form their own league.

And the reason that I ask if the debate will ever end is because, girls have been partaking in high school wrestling for the past 25 to 30 years now, and there STILL isn't enough to form their own leagues. I'm beginning to think if there's "ever" going to be enough interest in it. With that said, do you think this debacle is ever going to be over with? If so, when?
