will the court forgive a traffic ticket if i cant afford to pay the fine?

Highly doubtful. Your finances are of no concern to the court. You committed the offense,the fine is your punishment. Everyone would use the excuse that they couldn't afford the ticket if they let that be a reason to get out of your ticket.
Ask the judge for a lower fine and payment arrangements or community service.
 
i am currently living on welfare and food stamps due to my husbands recent lay off! things have been rough and i dont even have a dime to spare on a traffic ticket! i ahve a clean record and have never been in trouble with the law.
