the Chinese host will provide most sporting equiptments in the Olympic Games like basketball, volleyball, shuttlecocks, gymnastics equiptments, water polo balls, weights being used in weightlifting.
but when it comes to pole vaults, javelin, and discuss the athletes will personally bring their own. but it will be checked by the officials on the day of the competition so that the officials will know if their equipment conformes with international standards. athletes will be bringing their own boats being used in canoe/kayak and sailing and the horses that will be used in equestrian.
