So I got my financial aid check in the mail and I was wondering if I could cash it at a branch of the bank it came from. My school has various campus's and mine is about 2hrs away from the town the check was cut from. There is a branch of the bank in town and i was wondering if they would cash it. Keep in mind the check is for five thousand dollars. I have a bank account but the day an automatic 5 day hold for out of town checks, i need to still buy my school books and supplies cause class starts on tuesday.
