The pdaNet would not cost anything else because it's an illegal tethering program. So if Verizon catches you, you're screwed.. And there are plenty of horror stories out there about it happening to people..

I've heard mixed things on tethering costs for Verizon. I wanted to know if I use the app PdaNet to tether my Incredible to my netbook if it will cost me extra on top of my standard ($30/month) data plan. It's unlimited. Thanks!
