I don't normally sync my iPhone, I like to manually add songs instead of syncing. I have figured out how to make custom ringtones, and the ringtone is currently sitting in itunes waiting to be transfered, but the final step says I need to connect and sync my iPhone. I have clicked sync ringones, but it comes up with a warning that all my music and videos will be removedas a consequence. But since I'm ONLY syncing ringtones and not the iPod portion of my phone I shouldn't have any problems.... right? I also have loads of apps on my phone that aren't in my itunes, would I lose them?
If it matters any, none of my songs have been purchased on iTunes, they're all from my own collection transfered over. and none of them are still in my itunes library. I put into the library, I tranfer to phone, I delete from library.
