Will sotomayor joining the supreme court really change anything?

yeah she sent an innocent man to prison for 16 years before he finally proved his innocence. she will be a big help to barry getting the ones he wants in jail.
 
It would (at the very least) maintain the status quo, when we've lost checks & balances in the other branches. That's not a good thing.
 
Probably not much, as far as the "left v right" debate.

She probably has different quirks that Souter, perhaps the "character" of the court might be slightly different.

Perhaps she may make a good justice. Only time will tell.

So this is going to be a case the balance will hold.

My question is how she stands on Roe v Wade which she has avoided the most on when talking to Obama and company.
 
Sotomayer has had way too much exposure, negative exposure. Anyone who exercises empathy on the Supreme Court has developed a euphemism for bias and doesn't realize it. This appears to be Sotomayers involuntary mindset.

We need people in the highest court who demonstrate balance. I don't see this in Sotomayer.
