Will Sandra Bullock win an Oscar?

It's not eligible due to its release date.

Well I personally hope that Meryl wins the Oscar this year. Her performance was just brilliant and she dazzled again. Plus, in winning in a comedic role she merely proves her versatility!
 
I saw this film last night, and cannot believe it was nominated for best movie or that Sandra Bullock was nommed for best actress.
It was a decent perofrmance by her against type.
It was a poor movie, very American, good white Christian family take in poor black boy, I hope Sandra does not win as it is an insult to the others in the category.
I cannot understand how this movie did so well? :confused:
 
Apparently in tapps into the Sarah Palin demograph- white, conservative Christians who loved the book upon which it was based and responded to a cross-denominational campaighn to promote it.
