Will running with extra weight in a backpack benefit me also, advice for

improving my look, please read!? I like to run a lot. Usually about 35-45 minutes at least 4 times a week (mainly on the treadmill for now because of the cold winter).

I'm trying to get a bit stronger and build some more muscle mass and am wondering if it would benefit to run with a backpack (with about 10-20 lbs in it).


I am 5'5 and 135 pounds. Also, what do you recommended for making my body look better (below is a picture). I want to stay lean and get even more toned, maybe build a bit more muscele.

I mainly just do cardio, pushups, situps, pullups/chinups, and leg lifts from the pullup bar.
