will roaming work on xv6700 w/ cricket? How? Also one other question

Just picked up a xv6700 on verizon
i am flashing it over tonight when i get home.
I see there are alot of ways to do it, im not sure how to do it, What programs will i need and is there a simple write up on how to do it step by step start to finish?

also does roaming work fully? how do i get roaming to work? My current cricket phone is a cricket phone and i have roaming and it works imediatly and works perfect! will this do the same?

and will text messaging work as well? I text alot!
thanks guys! please help me out if anyone has any time i need this thing done tonight easy as possible. Do i even need software or can i do it all on the phone im new to this.

if you set the spc to 000000 and load a cricket prl, roaming will work once you *228. thats all i had time to answer right now

i cant find it on any sticky i searched too. im really really trying to get this put over to cricket how do i do it? Any software needed?
